Florin

Florin is often called the heart of Italy; people from other states will concede that Florinian wine, fruit, food and cigars are only second to their own and even then barely. From the Divine Comedy to Galileo's seminal work in astronomy to the popular ballad The Princess Bride, Italian culture always has had a Florinian imprint.

While the Humperdinck family still rules, most of the actual power is in the hand of a council composed by representatives from the various cities.

Florin is a robust culture; the wine is strong, the football is violent, the scientists and priests are loudly opinionated, the hills are steep, the men are handsome and the women are beautiful.
