Operation: Money Trail

Goal: Go get our pay from the Bortaks, and retrieve the skeletron from the site of Black Descent. Plan: Basically that. Let Toma haggle and handle the Bortaks, with Farok being backup. Ship: The White Lily
Ship Crew: Ramirez, pilot

(Not sure how this one went, actually. Happened week one of the skip, and don't recall if mentioned.)

Operation: Friendly ^HA! Skies

Goal: Lend out the White Lily to the Bortaks for delivering the gold they owe to some dwarves. As well as to entice them to buy an airship of their own from us.
Plan: Pretty self-explanatory. Rakel keeps the Lily running, Zogurt and Ran are the muscle, and Ran is also to help scout.

Things went sour, though only after the deal was made, with them [the Bortaks] misleading the dwarves into thinking the ships were theirs [the Bortaks]. Ran was able to interpret and warn us, but not before the damage was done. As they have wronged our pride and shat on our good faith, we roughed them up. Probably too much, but whatever. We claimed their cargo as payment for services rendered, as well as reparations for their insult. Naeko took it on herself to gaes the trader, who I don't think realizes she's not the one to command the crew to not beat some more sense into him.
Near's notes – I do wish I could have been there for this. Tempers may have flared too brightly. Regardless, it's done, and Farok will have to convince his people to not be dicks for me to not wipe them off the map entirely. No more will I allow my faith and trust to be abused with impunity.
